ROSACON 2022
We had a fantastic lineup of events at our annual conference (7 – 9 October 2022). From editing, to blurb writing, hilarious panel discussions, networking and writing sprints, it was an incredible three days full of information and fun!
Our keynote speaker was the wonderful, down-to-earth Susan Stoker. This was the second year the conference was held online.

Our first online conference was held this year
(12 – 14 November). This was our 8th conference and it was jam-packed!
This allowed members from all over the world to join in the fun.
The theme for this conference was Togetherness, with Eden Bradley as our keynote speaker.

ROSA’s Sixth Annual National Conference brings together South Africa’s romance‑writing community for two days of inspiration, learning, and connection. Hosted in an elegant venue that blends creativity and comfort, the event features expert‑led workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to help authors refine their craft and grow their careers.
From emerging voices to established authors, attendees celebrate the art of storytelling and the power of love in literature — all within a warm, supportive environment that reflects ROSA’s commitment to excellence and community.
ROSACON 2018
ROSA’s fifth annual national conference, was once again hosted at Melrose Place on the weekend of 22 – 23 September.
The weekend featured guest speakers, opportunities for one-on-one sessions with local editors, workshops, and a chance to meet and network with other writers.
A gala dinner took place on Saturday evening for the presentation of the Imbali and Strelitzia awards.
ROSACON 2017
The fourth annual conference took place at Melrose Place, Johannesburg. The event featured keynote speaker Jane Porter, author and founder of Tule Publishing, as well as a Gala Dinner for the presentation of the Imabli and Strelitzia Awards.
